The capstone educational and networking event of the local chapter of the American Physiological Society
The mission of the Greater Washington Area American Physiological Society Chapter is to unite physiologists throughout the greater Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia area. The group strives to foster collaborative science, networking, and career development through an open and inclusive association. With close proximity to the nation’s Capitol, the chapter specializes in science policy and advocacy for biomedical research funding. It's capstone event each year is the Greater Washington Area American Physiological Society Chapter's Annual Meeting, which emphasizes local student and trainee participation. This year's event is March 14 on the campus of the George Washington University.
